A Home for Missionary Vocations

Situated in the heart of Kohuwala, our seminary has been a cradle of missionary vocations for Sri Lanka and beyond. Under the charism of St. Eugene de Mazenod, we form men who are poor, obedient, and zealous for the salvation of souls.

Spiritual Formation

Daily Eucharist, Liturgy of the Hours, spiritual direction, and retreats form the heart of our life together.

Academic Excellence

Philosophy and Theology programs accredited through recognized pontifical institutions, equipping men for ministry.

Missionary Outreach

Apostolic experience in parishes, schools, and communities across Sri Lanka shapes our seminarians for the field.

Evangelise the Poor,
Sanctify the World

Founded by St. Eugene de Mazenod in 1816, the Oblates of Mary Immaculate have always directed their mission to the most abandoned — the poor, the marginalised, and those far from God.

"May the fire that animated the apostles devour us entirely and make us the true missionaries of Christ."
— St. Eugene de Mazenod, Founder OMI
